The imposition of entry visa is part of Immigration and Checkpoint Authorities' multi-pronged approach in ensuring that Singapore remains a safe and secure place everyone. Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries will require either a Business or Social Visit visa to enter Singapore:
Assessment level 1 countries
Commonwealth of Independent States (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan), India, Myanmar, People's Republic of China and holders of Hong Kong Document of Identity and Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Travel Permit. Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and holders of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates and Refugee Travel Document issued by Middle-East countries.
Holders of Diplomatic, Official and Service passports are exempted from visa requirements. Holders of Diplomatic, Official, Service and Public Affairs passports are exempted from visa requirements for a stay of up to 30 days.
Assessment level II countries
Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and holders of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates and Refugee Travel Document issued by Middle-East countries.
Procedure
For Applications in Singapore
Submit your visa application online via the Submission of Application for Visa Electronically (SAVE) system through a local contact/trusted partner.
For Applications Overseas
Submit via SAVE through Trusted Partners.
Submit your visa application at the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission. Please visit the respective Mission's website for their detailed visa application procedures.
Note: Possession of a visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and confirmed onward/return air ticket.
