Currency
The Guernsey currency is British Pounds Sterling. Local notes and coinage are interchangeable with UK tender. But Guernsey still has its own £1 note and Channel Islands notes & coins are not accepted in the UK, although they can be reconverted at parity in UK banks. The foreign currencies can be exchanged at Bureaux de change, in banks and at many hotels.
Entry Requirements
UK residents do not require a passport to visit Guernsey. But if one travels to Guernsey from the continent via United Kingdom he will require a passport. Moreover traveling from the continent direct to Guernsey will require a passport.
