The New World cuisine is French-influenced, decorative and pricey, but the seafood is fresh and the salads are recommended. Directly on the water's edge, the dark interior is embellished with local artwork; this is a perfect place for a special night out.

Waves Beach Bar. Daily 10am-1am. Moderate. Roadside/beachside joint serving standard bar fare: chicken wings, fish fingers, burgers, ribs and steaks. You won't come for fine dining, but for access to the watersports facilities, showers and the beach (a fence provides unattractive if necessary solitude). Daytime entertainment includes karaoke (Tues) and family barbecues with live music (Sun).
