This restaurant is within the walking distance from Beau Vallon Bay and is always packed.Remember to make a reservation before. Its right at a curve of the main street but - nevertheless, it is really quite cozy. The food is delicious - well - the Creole buffet is great! Don't miss it! It's worth the price.
Tea Plantation and Tavern: Best cup of tea
Location: Near Port Glaud on Mahe
Stop by the tea factory to see how Seychelles tea is made. Afterward go into the thatched tea tavern to taste vanilla and other flavors of tea. The tavern also sells citronelle or lemon grass. I bought a bag to bring home with me and it was great. There are some nice views from the tavern windows while sipping your tea.
Frangipani Terrace Restaurant: Spectacular Buffets

The Frangipani Terrace Restaurant at the Plantation Club offers a different themed buffet dinner every night, accompanied by live music. A dinner with a beer or soft drink costs around $50 per head. If you order wine that bill will soar. The buffets really are spectacular and attract local families as well as tourists.

The Pirates Arms
Location: Independence Avenue, Victoria, Mahe
The Pirates Arms was a real find. It’s got a great location, right in the centre of Victoria, a friendly atmosphere, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. The Pirates Arms is a nice place to hang out in for an hour or two, watching the world go by. You can just sit by the window, nursing a Sebrew beer, if you want. The fish creole is good. The menu is fairly eclectic, for example, they serve pizza as well as a nice Thai chicken and rice. Good cocktails too.
