Munich advisory firm Trust in Business is opening a tax company, Trust in Business Steuerberatungsgesellschaft (TIBS). The company says that despite economic problems, more people than ever are seeking help with their taxes. PC World reported a 2.6% increase in the number of people who said they would use an accountant or financial advisor to file their taxes for them for the 2002 filing. |
CEO of Trust in Business Anne Koark says: "The Bavarian government in Germany assists in all ways it can with 'Invest in Bavaria' and 'Go to Bavaria' agencies, but companies still need good services that allow them to concentrate on their core business while still having support in the crucial phase. We have tried and tested the partners of the Trust in Business Tax company and are integrating them in our package of services, as we are convinced that the level of service and experience is vital to keeping our standard of service in line with the international market. In summary, this is just what the doctor ordered,"
Ernst Altweger of TIBS says: "We have watched Trust in Business service customers professionally as well as expedite smooth and quick subsidiary launches. We've watched their team accompany the delegations of the Canadian Prime Minister on his visit to Germany this year - all while building up a great reputation on the German market. We are convinced by joining the Trust in Business group that we will benefit from their international reputation and be able to fill the need for tax advice which was missing in Trust in Business's offer of services so far. The power of the Trust in Business trademark sends a message which we want to convey."
According to an independent study carried out by the Swiss company Prognos, Bavaria wins the first place as a location for business. And it seems that many companies already know this. With General Electric's announcement that they are investing US$53m in an R&D project in North Munich, Germany just 7 minutes drive away from Trust in Business offices, it is clear that others will follow. Hays PLC UK - one of the largest HR service providers in the world have also just opened up in Munich and have been followed by Polyspace.
Says Klaus Stallmeister, Mayor of Hallbergmoos: "International companies are looking for a smooth startup phase in an area equipped to service the startup period. For years we have attracted some high quality international companies and high quality service companies in many different areas. Hallbergmoos industrial park at Munich airport has a high quality international hotel: Mövenpick Airport Hotel, which is equipped to service international visitors and which is expanding its services. Mjz Executive Living in Hallbergmoos has just opened a high-quality apartment service for short-term rental for executives in the start-up phase so that they can be close to the offices and still be able to live in style in a home which is equipped for comfortable living and which offers additional services. Trust in Business's expansion of services with the newly founded tax company is another addition to the services, which our office park can offer to international companies. We can only welcome such decisions. This year 53.000 square meters of office space have been added to the industrial park, so that we can service companies on their way to Germany. Hallbergmoos is prepared to pave the way!"
Trust in Business, www.trustib.com, is a full service company for the start-up phase of international subsidiaries in Germany.
