Nightlife in British Virgin Islands

British Virgin Islands offers wide range of option to light up the nightlife. There are some very good nightclubs and bars providing exotic beverages as well soothing music. Nightlife is one of the brightest aspects in this part of the world.
Some of the popular venues are:

North Beach Coast

Bomba's Beach Shack: It has Bomba's famous full moon parties at Apple Bay (Cappoon's Bay). Packed on Wednesdays and Sundays (Focus) as well, Bomba's is known for its excellent Reggae bands and that "secret family recipe" punch made of passion fruit, pineapple, papaya, orange, guava and banana juices mixed with homemade rum. Sebastian's on the Beach features the Spark Plugs on Sunday evenings.

Long Bay Beach Resort: It has West Indian buffet with the Spark Plugs on Fridays, a steel band on Saturday evenings and a Sunday BBQ brunch with steel pan music.

Cane Garden Bay

Quito's Gazebo: It features Quito Rymer and his band, The Edge, on Friday and Saturday nights. Quito plays love songs, calypso, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley and a mellow beat on an acoustic guitar on Tuesday and Thursday nights as well as his own songs.

Myett's: It always seems to have a happy dance crowd with bands on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (2 Smooth) and Mondays. Sunset happy hour and barbecue 4-6 pm (5-7 winter).

Da Wedding: It often has local bands like Lashing Dogs and Lover Boys (fungi) on Wednesdays with a fish fry. A good place to watch the pelicans dive for their food.

 nIGHTLIFE

Big Banana: It has live entertainment on weekends and most nights during the week.

Elm Beach Bar: It has Reggie Georges Steel Pan on Fridays 5-8 pm.



Road Town

Wickham's Cay/Main Street Area

Pusser's Pub: It has nickel beer nite 8-11 pm Thursdays and happy hour 5-7 pm daily. Ladies free drinks nite on Tuesdays 8-11 pm.

Village Cay Marina: It has happy hour 4-7:30 daily with free nachos, wings, and popcorn with music by Pan Vibes on Saturdays at 6 pm and the Last Virgin on Sundays.

Cafesito: It has live music on Saturday and Wednesdays (R & B ) and happy hour 4:30-6:30 daily.

Road Reef/Ft. Burt Area

The Pub: It has an all-day happy hour on Fridays with free wings from 6-7:30 pm. Ruben Chinnery and local bands play on Fridays and Saturdays.

Soper's Hole: Jolly Roger Inn has a variety of local and imported bands on Fridays & Saturdays at 8 pm playing styles from reggae to rock and roll. This is a very popular dancing spot with an outdoor pavilion next to the water.

Pusser's Landing: It has live music on weekends, Sunday afternoons (often a steel band) and many week nights with Caribbean buffets, pig roasts and West Indian themes, 5-7 pm happy hours with 25 cent chicken wings on some nights.

Lambert Bay

The Lambert Bay Resort: It has local bands Saturday nights was well as its very popular Sunday brunch with live entertainment.

Trellis Bay: Full Moon Parties are put on at Trellis Bay with moko jumbies performing on stilts and fire sculptures by Aragorn.

The Last Resort on Bellamy Cay (free ferry): It features an English buffet and a show nightly.  Peter Merrigan, a British comedian has replaced the famed Tony Shell, who has retired.
