Enjoy a lively evening in the many nightclubs, discos and bars in Varadero, Santigo and many more towns in Cuba. Several delightful classical concerts make up the annual Nice Musical Nights festival. The concerts, at the Opéra de Nice and the Clôitre du Monastère de Cimiez, are a wonderful way to spend a Mediterranean summer's evening. |
Performers in 2005 include the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cannes Regional Orchestra. The remainder of the concerts are performed by students of the Nice Academy of Music. The best place for live jazz and salsa is the Hotel Riviera (from midnight). It is closed on Wednesday though. Discos can be found in many towns in the main square. There will be good dancing, plenty of rum and a great atmosphere. Lots of locals will be there, but they welcome tourists. All the touristy hotel areas have great bars and restaurants.
