Theatre art in Malta

The Maltese people are art lovers, and savour their love for entertainment and arts. There are various  theatres in Malta, make sure to catch on to the  plays and performances in theatres all over the Maltese island.


Manoel Theatre is one of the oldest theatres in Europe, still in operation.There are several shows organized here that make for a promising and entertaining time. From the many presentations etc held here, some of them are mentioned.

Gozo 360°
A sound & light show at the Citadel Theatre depicting centuries of Gozo's history with some spectacular photography. Programmes are in many languages, and there are various shows throughout the day, all week.

The Mdina Experience

A good audio visual show depicting centuries of the history of Mdina.

 

In Guardia!

It is a re-enactment of a historical military parade staged at Fort St. Elmo in Valletta.  Organised by the Malta Tourism Authority it charges a nominal entry fee.

 

Alarme!

A battle scene re-enactment set of 1800, when French and Maltese troops clashed at Fort St.Elmo in Valletta, organized by Historical Re-enactment Group of Malta at Valletta.
