Cinema Halls in Martinique

There are several comfortable air-conditioned cinemas in Fort-de-France and various communes but films are not in English. There is also a state-of-the-art multiscreen complex in the Palais de Congres de Madiana, northwest of the centre of Fort-de-France at Schoelcher. Tel: 721515

The main theatres are the Theater Municipal in the lovely old Hôtel de Ville building and Théâtre de la Soif Nouvelle in the Place Clemenceau. The Théâtre Atrium, on the corner of rue de la Redoute du Marouba, is a state of the art hall, with shows of operas, plays, concerts, dance etc organized every evening.
