Getting married in Bermuda

Bermuda is a lovely place to get married, and couples are warmly welcomed to Bermuda to get married or honeymoon.

Couples must first have their "Notice of Intended Marriage" published three times in the local newspapers.
All applications are to be addressed to the
Registrar General (Bermuda Government) Government Administration Building, 30 Parliament Street, Hamilton HM 12, Bermuda.

These applications can also be obtained from the Bermuda Government's Department of Tourism offices in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto and London.

When returning the properly filled-in application also send the fee in round figures as a money order, cashier's check or bank draft and made payable to the (Bermuda Government's) Accountant General.
