Speeding across the wadis is another adrenaline-booster that both visitors & locals look forward to. The term ‘wadi’ in the local lingo connotes a dry river-bed that is usually filled with water after the winter showers in the nearby Hajjar Mountains.

A desert safari usually entails sand skiing sessions & camel rides as well; and during winter, camel races are held on Thursdays and Fridays. Most desert safaris commence midday culminating in the sunset views in the desert and end in fun-packed evenings with traditional music and belly dancing.
