Getting married in Ireland

Getting married in Ireland is a most cherished dream of many people. But most of them are not aware of the possibilities, legalities and necessary arrangements to realize their dreams. This is an effort to bring forth to you all the promises of a memorable wedding in Ireland.

There are several possibilities of getting married in Ireland than one can even imagine. For a church wedding, the requirements vary between different religions. To get married in Church of Ireland, one person out of two must be Anglican or Episcopalian. Jewish wedding in Ireland is possible only if the couple is Jew. However, permission to marry is at the discretion of the Chief Rabbi. If the couple who wishes to marry in Ireland are members of Society of Friends (Quakers), they can marry in accordance.

On the other hand, if you are a member of any religion, you cannot have a legal church marriage in Ireland. In this case, you have the option of a civil marriage either in Ireland or in your own country and then have a Church Blessing in Ireland.
